Absolutely amazing experience at Uncle Wang! The food was incredible and perfect for a cozy winter meal. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour and made with so much care. We tried the Salted Duck, which was tender and flavourful—such a great way to start the meal. The Pork Ball Noodle Soup was warm, comforting, and the pork balls were perfectly juicy and tender. The highlight for me was the Wok-Fried Wagyu Beef with Bell Peppers—so soft and juicy, with that rich wok-fried flavour that brings everything together beautifully. The atmosphere was clean, vibrant, and welcoming. Highly recommend Uncle Wang if you're after quality Chinese food and a lovely dining experience in Sydney. Definitely a hidden gem worth supporting!

Best shanghainese food ever! The quality of the home made noodles are al dente. Ordered the Dan Dan noodles with dumplings. So light and flavourful without the MSG. The barramundi sweet, sour and spicy is a must Order. Xiao long bao is amazing. Ambiance is very nice, like an upmarket restaurant. Super clean, probably the cleanest Chinese restaurant I’ve ever seen. Relaxing jazz Music is a great touch. Uncle wang himself is so nice, had a great chat with him. A must visit when in Sydney.

Genuinely my new favourite spot for Chinese food!! Each dish was so tasty and we really enjoyed everything. Chicken was soooo crispy and not oily at all. The crispy barramundi was super tender and loved the sweet chilli sauce they use. Fried rice came with a generous amount of prawns and was so fun to munch on the wontons. The interior was super clean and modern, definitely cant find many Chinese spots like this in Sydney! Full review at @obesi.chi on Insta

Fantastic Chinese food as a picker eater who usually avoids Chinese food, this place was a breath of fresh air. You can taste the attention to detail and fresh ingredients used.. but most importantly Uncle Wang’s culinary passion. Have already been here 5 times Standouts: BBQ duck spring rolls (just wowwwwwwwwwewwwww), braised beef and tripe, sweet and sour pork ribs, dumplings (10000000% made with love - the ingredients are so fresh!!!!! unlike those average oily dumplings found elsewhere) Edit; the dumplings are sooooooo good I usually avoid ordering dumplings coz they’re oily and have a cheap pork smell (don’t buy supermarket frozen ones either) but with their dumplings, I savour every bite I have already taken 10+ friends here
